Draft for review: this page is a starting point written in plain language. Have it reviewed by your organization’s advisor (and, ideally, someone with legal knowledge) before launch, then set reviewed to true in the page file to remove this notice.

What we collect

When you submit an application or contact form, we collect the information you provide: names, contact details, business information, and your answers to our questions. We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data — and we ask you not to include them in free-text fields.

This website does not currently use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. Form drafts are saved to your own device's local storage so you can finish later; they never leave your browser until you submit.

How we use it

Application information is used to review your request, plan a project with you, and communicate about it. Volunteer applications are used to match students with roles. Partner inquiries are used to follow up on the conversation you started.

We never sell personal information. We never share it outside our team except where a service we use to receive form submissions processes it on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep application information while a project is active or under consideration, and remove it upon request at any time. Email us and we'll confirm deletion.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@locallift.org. You can clear locally-saved form drafts by clearing your browser's site data.
