Who we are

Local Lift is a student-run nonprofit organization that provides website design, development, branding, and digital education services to underserved local businesses and community organizations, at no cost or at an accessible nonprofit rate.

Applications

Submitting an application — for a website, a volunteer role, or a partnership — does not create any obligation on either side. Projects are selected based on need, community impact, and our team's current capacity. We respond to every application, but we cannot accept every one.

Our services

Project scope, timelines, and any applicable costs are agreed with each business in writing before work begins. We are students: we hold ourselves to professional standards, and we are honest about being a learning organization. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue or customer growth.

Completed websites, domains, and related accounts belong to the business, not to us.

This website

Content on this site is provided for information. Projects labeled “Concept Project” or “Sample Transformation” are design studies, not completed client engagements, and any referenced business details reflect public information at the time of research.

You may not misrepresent our work as your own or use this site to send spam or unlawful content through our forms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the organization grows. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
