The challenge

The bakery's regulars know the rhythm: come early, bring options, the conchas go fast. New customers don't. Custom cake orders happen over a phone that's busy during the morning rush, and there's no way to see what's baking today.

  • Social Media Strategy

Scarcity is the brand — so say it

The bakery sells out. That's not a problem to hide; it's the most persuasive thing about it. The sample design leads with 'Today's Bake' and honest guidance — come before 10, the conchas don't wait — turning the regulars' secret into everyone's plan.

Cake orders without the phone tag

A short form collects everything a custom order needs — size, flavors, date, a reference photo — so the family can confirm orders after the rush instead of during it.

One warm identity

Marigold orange, soft cream, and deep bread-crust brown tie together the site, the boxes, and the feed. The photography direction is flour and hands, not staged pastry stock.

Before

  • No website; an outdated review photo is the storefront
  • Custom cake orders only by phone, during the rush
  • Daily specials known only to regulars
  • Inconsistent branding across sign, boxes, and social

After

  • A warm site with today's bake and the full case
  • A simple cake-order form with photo examples
  • Hours, location, and 'come early' honesty up front
  • One identity across the site, the boxes, and Instagram

Intended outcomes

01

Cake orders arrive complete, without tying up the phone

02

New customers show up knowing what to expect

03

The bakery's story carries to a second generation of customers
